I liked that it was right on the beach and the views were wonderful.
The beds in the room needed to be updated for comfort and the pool was like warm bath water so during the day the Gulf was cooler for swimming.
Hotel on the beach. Friendly management. All Linen was clean. Nice view from room. Nice shower in bathroom.
The tv was very small, cheap, and the picture was terrible. Missing supplies for kitchen use. The heated pool was not heated at all but cold. Ad stated there was a heated pool. The beds were uncomfortable and over used. The wifi required a password that we never received. Closet doors were coming off the hinges. The toilet in our room was unstable and ready to come off the floor. The radio in our room was not working. The light was out over the kitchen area.We will be looking for another hotel on Treasure Island the next time we visit that area. I would give it 2.5 stars out of 5.
It had a full refrigerator, a mini kitchen, with apt size stove and oven with all utensils, plates, cups and even pots and pans! Sofa bed too with view of beach... It also had a bbq but I called and asked if it was working being I wanted to bbq and they confirmed it did... When I got there, it was a 3 zone gas bbq, where only the 2 end zones worked and one of the ends the fire was way too high on High and the other zone the fire was ok for High settings but this caused half of my food to be overcooked/burnt and the other cooked just right (also not reaching temp gage of "grill" making it difficult to know when it was cooked)... I really enjoyed the bbq but I wish it was serviced so it could work right! And enjoyed the small piers across the street to fish off of on the Bay side! And the pool and pool areas with chairs and umbrella tables were very clean.
I found, unit #18 to be very run down, sofa bed cushions were badly stained and torn. The 2 dbl beds their mattress was very soft and flimsy... We did not have a restful sleep because of it, then we noticed one of the legs of the beds was broken, the bathroom shower head was missing and the bathroom door had a hole in it like if someone punched it. The smell was a very strong musty odor maybe even smoke when it was suppose to be a non smoking room but it seemed they tried to covering it up with some deodorizer, with time, since staying only one night, we'd just decided, to get accustomed to it then complain. It did have plenty of closet space. It looked like it was cleaned in general but rugs so outdated, everything looking so let go, we were expecting roaches to appear at any given moment but fortunately we didn't see any... We paid $80 for 4 adults and that's because the internet charged that for 2 ppl and 2 children but when arriving and we disclosed we were 4 adults, the attendant was very nice in not charging extra for it... Once in the room, I didn't think it would be a fair to charge any extra on it and the price was to include breakfast, which was "only" coffee.
